How to Make Fruit Custard
Step 1: Prepare the Custard Base
Take 2 tablespoons of custard powder in a small bowl.
Add 4-5 tablespoons of cold milk and mix until smooth (no lumps).
Heat the remaining milk in a pan and bring it to a gentle boil.
Lower the heat and gradually add the custard mixture to the hot milk while stirring continuously.
Add sugar and continue stirring until the mixture thickens (about 5–7 minutes).
Once thick, remove from heat and let it cool. Chill in the fridge for at least 1–2 hours.
Step 2: Add the Fruits
Just before serving, add chopped fruits to the chilled custard.
Mix gently to avoid bruising the fruits.
Serve immediately or chill for another 30 minutes for best results.
