A Photograph not only captures an image but also a moment brimming with emotions and memories. From breathtaking landscapes to candid portraits, each photograph tells its own story. On this World Photography Day, &TV artists share personal anecdotes behind some of their most memorable shots. These include Smita Sable (Dhaniya of Bheema), Ashutosh Kulkarni (Krishan Bihari Vajpayee of Atal), Yogesh Tripathi (Hapgu Singh, Happy Ki Ultan Paltan), and Shubhangi Atre (Angoori Bhabi, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai). Smita Sable, who plays Dhaniya in Bheema, shares, "The most memorable photo I have ever taken was of a cat feeding her kittens, her eyes radiating love and protection. It was a rainy day, and I found them huddled in a quiet corner, away from the world's chaos. The way she cared for her little ones, despite her challenges, reminded me of a mother's strength and unconditional love. Capturing that moment was like preserving a compassionate story of resilience and nurturing one that speaks volumes without words." Ashutosh Kulkarni, known as Krishan Bihari Vajpayee in Atal, shares, "Photography has always been both a hobby and a passion for me. After college, I formally studied photography for two years to refine my skills, I am drawn to capturing emotions and moments. Once, during an outdoor shoot, I saw a group of underprivileged children watching the shoot eagerly. I asked the crew's spot boy to offer them food. The sheer joy on their faces as they received the food was heartwarming. They gathered around, laughing and sharing a simple meal. That moment, their smiles, and their joy, compelled me to capture the moment. That photograph is a memory I will always treasure."
Yogesh Tripathi, known for his role as Daroga Happy Singh in Hapgy Ki Ultan Paltan, recounts, "The most striking image I have ever taken is of Mumbai's vibrant streets, with cars moving and rusted buildings standing as silent witnesses to countless stories. It was a monsoon evening, and despite the rain, the city pulsed with energy. The contrast between sleek, modern vehicles and ancient, weathered structures captured Mumbai's resilient spirit and its rich, layered history. The photo conveys a city that never sleeps, where the past and present coexist in beautiful, chaotic harmony. Shubhangi Atre, who plays Angoori Bhabhi in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, shares, "On World Photography Day, I feel nostalgic thinking about the most memorable photos I have taken. As an actor, being in front of the camera is a joy, but capturing moments behind it is a different pleasure. I remember photographing sunrises on treks, the vibrant streets of india, and nature's serene beauty. But the most memorable photos are those with my loved ones-moments of laughter, tears, and pure joy. Photography has taught me to appreciate everyday beauty and cherish memories forever."
