Actress Rashami Desai recently appeared on Rajiv Khandelwal's reality TV show, *Tum Ho Na – Ghar Ki Superstar*, alongside her mother, Rasila Desai. During the episode, Rashami opened up about the mother-daughter bond and the challenges of not being able to devote enough time to her family. She appeared visibly emotional throughout the conversation.

During the discussion on the show, Rashami admitted that due to her hectic professional life, she is unable to spend adequate time with her mother—a fact that leaves her feeling guilty.

Host Rajiv Khandelwal asked Rashami's mother whether her daughter throws as many tantrums at home as people often assume celebrities do. Responding with a smile, Rasila Desai remarked that Rashami generally does not throw many tantrums, although it does happen occasionally.

Rasila shared that, due to her busy work schedule, Rashami spends the majority of her time away from home. She recalled a time when both of them were so engrossed in their respective work that they could barely find a moment to talk to one another. Now, following her retirement, she wishes for her daughter to spend more time with her so that they can sit down and have heart-to-heart conversations.

Hearing her mother say this, Rashami became emotional. She acknowledged that she is fully aware of her inability to devote sufficient time to her mother. The actress admitted that this reality troubles her deeply on the inside, and she holds herself responsible for it.

Rashami stated that the greatest life lessons she has learned have come from her mother. She has watched her mother work tirelessly ever since her childhood. Rasila Desai used to work with complete dedication and remain focused on her goals, even while getting very little sleep. It is precisely for this reason that the same discipline and dedication toward work have become an integral part of Rashami's own nature.

The actress revealed that she began working at a very young age. She noted that ever since she was 16 and her brother was 14, both of them developed the habit of working hard continuously. She stated that in her family, instead of sitting idle, there is always an emphasis on learning something new and moving forward.

Rashmi admitted that even today, whenever she finds a little spare time away from work, she keeps herself occupied by learning something new or engaging in some activity. However, she now realizes that the time spent with her family—and especially with her mother—is equally important.
