Radisson Blu MBD Hotel, Noida immerses guests in Lucknow's vibrant Chowk Bazaar with a special event at Made In India restaurant. Known for its rich heritage and authentic Awadhi cuisine, Chowk Bazaar holds a special place in the culinary landscape, offering an array of nostalgic flavors and memories. Due to overwhelming demand for the exquisite cuisine, the event initially set from the 18th to the 24th was extended till today, Sunday, January 28th.
At Made In India, the event features a Bara Imambara cutout at the entrance, honoring Lucknow's iconic landmark. The restaurant's ambiance mirrors the charm of Chowk with narrow streets and shops. With a live basket chaat counter and a unique presentation of box-style Khasta Kachori served from an old-style Luna scooty, guests can experience a memorable culinary adventure.
Chef Sachin Malik, the Executive Chef at Radisson Blu MBD Hotel Noida, shares culinary vision: “We aim not just to serve but to celebrate the charm of Lucknow's Chowk Bazaar, embracing its cultural richness and savoring its delectable flavors. Guests entering through the Made In India doorway, reminiscent of Bara Imambara, embark on a sensory journey, where elements of Lucknow's lively streets and delightful cuisine come together to create a symphony of culinary delight.”
A mouthwatering selection of foods can be found on the menu, including Kathal ki Galouti, a Jackfruit patty with mashed potato marinated with species, and Tunday Kebab, finely minced lamb patties served with roomali roti. For the main course, signature dishes like Dum Sabz Handi, Chowk ki Dal, Nalli Nihari, and Nargisi Kebab promise to delight the senses. The culinary journey continues with Nawabi Ghost Biryani and Awadh Subz Biryani, showcasing the house speciality mutton and mixed vegetables respectively, both cooked with a blend of aromatic spices and basmati rice.
To sweeten the experience, Made In India presents Shahi Tukda, a parfait of reduced milk flavored with cardamom, and Falooda Kulfi, vermicelli noodles paired with homemade kulfi. As a delightful conclusion to the meal, patrons can indulge in the Lucknowi-style paan, adding a traditional touch. Additionally, a hand cleansing ritual will be offered, ensuring a complete and satisfying culinary experience. Guests can also savor the live Khada doodh on kadhai for a memorable ending to the feast.
