MasterChef India continues to reflect a nation stepping confidently into its future, powered by ambition, partnership, and pride. Embodying the spirit of ‘Desh Ab Front Foot Pe Chal Raha Hai’, mother–daughter duo SaiSri and Chandana from Mancherial, Telangana, step onto the MasterChef stage with a bold vision—to take the authenticity of Telangana’s cuisine from regional roots to national recognition.

A seasoned chef and entrepreneur, SaiSri returns to the MasterChef universe with renewed purpose after finishing in the Top 6 of MasterChef Telugu in 2021. At just 24, she speaks with the confidence of someone who understands not just craft, but leadership and scale. During her interaction with the judges, SaiSri spoke about her long-term vision of building a sustainable, scalable culinary brand—challenging the notion that passion and business cannot coexist. Reacting to this, Chef Kunal Kapur remarked, "Many people believe that if you're a very passionate chef, then you're not a good businessman."

Equally impressed, Chef Ranveer Brar added, "You know, the way you're talking, it feels like someone who has been running a restaurant for 24 years is talking. Wonderful. Teamwork, leadership, and inventory management, you said all of this so peacefully. You have a very mature head on your shoulders."

Speaking about sharing the national stage with her mother, SaiSri said, "Coming to MasterChef India with my mother is deeply meaningful. This is no longer just about representing Telugu cuisine; it’s about representing India. Standing here with her gives me strength, and together we want to show how our culture and vision can move forward on a national platform." Chandana shared, “Standing beside SaiSri here is a moment of pride, not just for us, but for every family that believes in growth through support."

SaiSri firmly believes in taking Telangana cuisine beyond regional boundaries. While South Indian flavours are widely celebrated, she feels Telangana’s distinct culinary identity is still waiting for its moment on the national stage.
