Pineapple Delight is a light, creamy, and refreshing dessert made with layers of crushed biscuits, whipped cream, and juicy pineapple. It’s perfect for parties, festive occasions, or when you simply want a quick no-bake sweet treat. The combination of tangy pineapple and smooth cream creates a melt-in-mouth experience that everyone enjoys.
Ingredients
1 cup fresh or canned pineapple (chopped)
1 cup pineapple juice (for soaking base)
200 ml fresh cream or whipped cream
1/2 cup condensed milk
10–12 digestive biscuits or sponge cake slices
2 tbsp sugar (optional, depending on sweetness)
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
Cherries or pineapple slices for garnish
Preparation Method
Prepare the base:
Crush the biscuits or place sponge cake slices in a serving dish. Lightly drizzle pineapple juice over them so they become soft and flavorful.
Make creamy layer:
In a bowl, whip the cream until fluffy. Add condensed milk, vanilla essence, and sugar if needed. Mix gently until smooth.
Add pineapple:
Fold in chopped pineapple pieces into the cream mixture.
Layering:
Spread a layer of cream mixture over the biscuit/cake base. Repeat if making multiple layers.
Chill:
Refrigerate for at least 2–3 hours so the dessert sets properly and flavors blend well.
Garnish & serve:
Top with cherries or pineapple slices and serve chilled.
Tips for Perfect Pineapple Delight
Use chilled cream for better texture.
Don’t oversoak the base or it may become soggy.
Fresh pineapple gives a more natural taste, but canned works well too.
